The email marketing firm AWeber, the developers of the Curate mobile app that allows podcasters to embed audio directly into email messages, will hold its second free, one-day virtual conference designed to help podcasters and marketers alike better understand the podcasting space including industry best practices on marketing and monetization of podcasts. The second Podcast Virtual Summit will take place Sept. 18 and feature a number of podcasters who’ll share their advice on how to increase subscribers and engagement for their shows. Organizers say Summit attendees will walk away with tips on how to secure strategic sponsorships, launch promotional email campaigns, drive more listeners from social media and build a fan-filled community around their podcasts.
“Whether you’re a professional podcaster, entrepreneur, hobbyist or digital marketer, the Beyond the Podcast Virtual Summit provides a platform for the podcasting community to come together to share insights and celebrate successes,” said Rob Patterson, Chief Marketing & Growth Officer at AWeber in the announcement. “We want to help podcasters and business owners think beyond their podcasts’ downloads and ratings to reach more listeners and build meaningful relationships with their audiences.”
