Juntos

Univision and Pop Sugar, the online brand targeting women, are releasing new episodes of their bilingual podcast targeting Latinas. Juntos We Shine (Together We Shine) is hosted by Andrea Chediak, fashion reporter for Univision’s “Despierta América” morning TV show. The new podcast will receive on-air promotion across the company’s radio, television and online properties, including primetime TV spots.

The series returns with an interview with Ariana Stein and Patty Rodriguez, the founders of Lil’ Libros, a Los Angeles-based independent bilingual children’s book publisher. Stein and Rodriguez discuss their mantra “dreaming in two languages,” entrepreneurship, following their dreams, and overcoming obstacles. Additional episodes launch later this month and in December. Future episodes will feature conversations with Justina Machado, star of the critically acclaimed “One Day at a Time” reboot on Netflix (Nov. 25), actress Roselyn Sanchez (Dec. 9) and Adrienne Bailon-Houghton, host of “The Real” (Dec. 16).

Juntos We Shine launched in August as part of a long-term partnership between Univision and Pop Sugar. The two companies announced an alliance at last year’s network television upfront and they say the podcast is part of that larger integrated 360-degree content and marketing program.
