Storic Media Podcast Network, a division of United Stations Media Networks, has recruited veteran television producer, talent and development executive Chuck LaBella as Executive Producer of Podcasting for the company. He has already been working with Storic, helping drive the launch of podcasts from hosts including Group Text with TV host Melissa Rivers, The Mob Pod with actor Vinnie Pastore, and Hollywood Raw with TMZ vets Dax Holt and Adam Glyn.
“We are so happy that Chuck has decided to join the Storic family,” Kristin Verbitsky, the Director of Podcasting at Storic, said in the announcement. “He’s already been an integral part of our growth and we are looking forward to taking Storic to the next level with him.”
Prior to his branching into podcasting, LaBella spent the past three decades working in network television, having a hand in creating, launching and producing series such as Who Wants to be a Millionaire?, Politically Incorrect, Hollywood Game Night and the Comedy Central Roasts.
LaBella most recently was Vice President of Talent Development for Alternative, Late-Night and Specials from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, LaBella was a talent producer on NBC’s “The Apprentice” featuring now-President Trump.
The TV veteran also has his own production company, LaBella Worldwide. And Storic says he also consults for ABC’s The Masked Singer, Fox’s Holey Moley and HBO Max’s Full Bloom.
“Storic has given me the opportunity to expand my creativity beyond television,” LaBella said in a statement. “I am looking forward to using my skills as a network talent executive to fill the Storic roster with more great talk and compelling programs.”
