After shelving the simulcast of news/talk KBUL Billings (970) on KCHH (95.5), Townsquare Media debuts “95.5 Lite FM” on the latter signal. The station will make its official AC debut, playing a variety of music from the 80s, 90s, and today, on Jan.1. Until then, it’s playing Christmas music.

“We've got all the best nostalgic hits raining down on Billings radio listeners from the new station 95.5 Lite FM,” a website post read. “The ultimate throwback station, sprinkled with a bit of today's pop hits, is now available on air, on the web, and on our app to listen to the live stream anytime, anywhere.” The post continued, “Deck the halls with holiday hits this season on 95.5 Lite FM, temporarily on-air in place of our regular 80s, 90s, and Today variety songs until Jan. 1, 2023.”

In August, Townsquare Media discontinued the simulcast of KBUL and KCHH, with the news/talk format remaining on KBUL and its corresponding translator, the Billings-licensed K277DS at 103.3.

KCHH also has a translator signal attached to it – the Billings-licensed K236AB at 95.1.
