Jesse James will soon take over mornings at Cumulus Media “93.3 The Bull” KUBL Salt Lake City. James will debut in mid-March Jesse after KUBL names a co-host for the show. It’s a return to country radio for James, who previously hosted at Wilks Broadcasting “92.5 The Wolf” KWOF Denver, Cox Media Group “Y100” KCYY San Antonio, and then-Clear Channel “FM 106.1” WMIL Milwaukee.
“Jesse has a great track record of surrounding himself with interesting partners that make for compelling radio. We’re confident he’ll do it once again in Salt Lake City,” said Patrick Reedy, Regional VP/Market Manager, Cumulus Salt Lake City.
James joins Cumulus from Radio FM Media, where he was morning host and brand manager for hot AC “Big 98.7” KLTA Fargo, ND, for more than a decade. James succeeds Lexi Papadopoulos and Jared “Banks” Danielson, who exited in January after five years with the station. “As we continue to build something special here at 93.3 The Bull, we are looking to add difference makers to our team,” added KUBL PD Travis Daily. “I honestly don’t know which is bigger, Jesse’s talent or his creativity, but it’s going to be awesome to find out.”
Said James said, “I can’t thank the entire Cumulus team enough for this incredible opportunity to return to my first love, which is Country radio. I cannot wait to get there and get started with this incredible station!”
