Hearst news/talk WBAL Baltimore (1090) debuts the “The Torrey And Dan Show” in afternoons (2-6pm). Evening host Dan Joseph, who joined the station in 2018, moves to afternoons and is partnered with Torrey Snow, who has been hosting the show solo since August 2020. WBAL picked up game-day broadcasts of the Baltimore Orioles baseball in the evenings with the beginning of the 2022 MLB season. Read more

Bo Matthews is named Programming & Operations Director at Alpha Media San Jose. Matthews will oversee the recently launched “Bay Country” KBAY San Jose (94.5)/KKDV Walnut Creek (92.1) and hot AC “Mix 106.5” KEZR. Matthews has been serving as interim PD for the cluster for the past seven months, while also overseeing Alpha Media’s Dayton and Canton clusters. Read more

“Timinem” (Tim Goodson), the longtime midday host at Stephens Media Group rhythmic CHR “Hot 104.7” KHTN Fresno, has died from an unspecified illness at the age of 38. Goodson had been with the station since 2003. Read more

A month after Alpha Media flipped KBAY San Jose (94.5) and KKDV Walnut Creek (92.1) from AC to “Bay Country 94.5,” the company has hired Emily Harlan as midday host. Harlan serves as the in-arena and digital media host for the NHL’ San Jose Sharks and was previously a host and reporter for Fox Sports San Diego. Read more

Bob Heussler, a longtime sports update anchor on Audacy sports WFAN-AM/FM New York (660/101.9), has decided to step down. Heussler, who has been with “The Fan” for 30 years, will continue in a part-time role at the station. He did his last full-time shift on May 12.  Read more

Andrew “Latty” Latimer is named morning host at Cumulus Media country “Kix 106” WGKX Memphis, effective May 31. Latimer previously served in the same role at Flinn Broadcasting's crosstown classic hits WHBQ (107.5).  Read more

Tim Donnelly gets the official nod as afternoon host at Max Broadcast Group sports “94.1 ESPN” WVSP Norfolk. Donnelly has been hosting the shift on an interim basis since the departure of Nick Cattles in November 2021. He previously served as producer for Cattles. Read more

Roy Brown is exiting Beasley Media Group CHR “Kiss 95.1” WNKS Charlotte, where he has been serving as one-third of the “Maney, Roy and Lauren” morning show. Lauren O’Neil returns to middays at Cumulus Media modern rock “Q101” WKQX Chicago. O’Neil shifted to afternoons last year after the departure of Tim Virgin to co-owned classic hits WLS-FM (94.7). Afternoons at “Q101” are now being covered for now by Eric Kristensen and Brian Phillips, according to Chicago media reporter Robert Feder. Read more

The “Greg & Mere” (Greg Curtis and Meredith Dunkel) morning show will end its run at Lotus AC “94.9 Mix FM” KMXZ Tucson on Friday, May 27. Tom Gribble returns to radio as producer of “Hawkeye in the Morning” at Cumulus Media country KSCS Dallas (96.3). Gribble, who previously spent 18 years at Cumulus Dallas sports KTCK and KESN as executive producer, left the company in 2020. Read more

Your Public Radio Corp. news/talk WYPR Baltimore (88.1) adds Zshekinah Collier to its newsroom as part of Report for America (RFA), the national service program that places emerging journalists into local news organizations to report on under-covered issues and communities. Collier, who starts at WYPR on June 1, will report on education in Baltimore and environmental issues in the state.  Read more

Hawaii radio veteran Randy Hudnall has died at the age of 61, KITV-TV reports. Throughout his 35-year career, Hudnall served as on-air host and PD at the former KCCN (1420) and KINE (105.1) in Honolulu. Most recently, Hudnall operated the internet radio station “Hawaiian Music Live.”   Read more

Jessica Casano-Antonellis is named Senior VP and Head of Communications at SiriusXM. Casano-Antonellis joins the satellite broadcaster from The Walt Disney Company where she led communications for the Disney Streaming organization, overseeing global communications strategies for Disney+ and Hulu.  Read more
